Fecteau Rips Congressman Cicilline’s “Faces of the Unemployed” Program

Providence, RI, April 30, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Statement from Congressman Cicilline’s Democratic Congressional Opponent Matt Fecteau:

“I am utterly speechless. My opponent’s ‘Faces of the Unemployed’ is evidence of his ineffectiveness and just how out of touch he is in Congress. Instead of finding quality, good paying jobs for Rhode Islanders, he has resorted to posting pictures outside his office of unfortunate, unemployed members of our community.

"If anything, this program is further indication that my rich and entrenched opponent and his peers in Congress are more concerned with petty distractions than finding practical solutions to problems we face every day. I support extending unemployment benefits, but I am fed up with these types of parlor tricks.

"We need jobs in this state. The time for change is now."
