Spring Design EXPO to be Hosted by The Samaritan Inn
Attendees will be inspired by a transformed home filled with reclaimed, refinished and re-purposed bargain items in a fabulous, funky and fashionable display that will spur imagination and creativity. Unique gifts, vintage and upcycled items, project pieces, bargains galore and decorative displays are sure to inspire many home décor ideas. All sales benefit the homeless programs of The Samaritan Inn.
McKinney, TX, April 30, 2014 --(PR.com)-- The Spring Design EXPO will open on May 16th and 17th from 10 am – 4 pm at 1514 N. McDonald Street in McKinney, on the site of land purchased to become a new family shelter. Attendees will be inspired by a transformed home filled with reclaimed, refinished and re-purposed bargain items in a fabulous, funky and fashionable display that will spur imagination and creativity. Unique gifts, vintage and upcycled items, project pieces, bargains galore and decorative displays are sure to inspire many home décor ideas.
All items are for sale and benefit the homeless programs of The Samaritan Inn. Additional vendors will be on-site with items for sale and live furniture demonstrations by designers will be scheduled throughout the day. Food truck, raffle prizes and lots of treasures to be found.
Tickets are available on The Samaritan Inn website at www.thesamaritaninn.org or at INN Style Resale Store, 103 E. University Dr, in McKinney. Tickets are $10 in advance or $15 at the door.
About The Samaritan Inn
Founded in 1984, The Samaritan Inn is a comprehensive homeless program that helps willing people gain dignity and independence. There are currently 161 residents living at The Samaritan Inn, of which 62 are children. Last year, more than 2,600 people who qualified for the program were referred to other services because there was no room at the Inn. The Inn is currently undergoing a $7.6 million dollar Capital Campaign to build a 100-bedroom family shelter on 15 acres of land, just 500 yards from the current shelter.
