Texas Trust's VP of Mortgage Lending Named Top Performing Mortgage Professional
Being named a top performing mortgage professional is becoming a habit for Richard Whitman of Texas Trust Credit Union. The VP of Mortgage Lending has been named a Five Star Mortgage Professional for the third consecutive year. Winners were selected based on an independent consumer survey conducted by a third party research company.
Mansfield, TX, April 30, 2014 --(PR.com)-- For the third consecutive year, Richard Whitman, Vice President of Mortgage Lending at Texas Trust Credit Union, has been named a Five Star Mortgage Professional.
Whitman scored in the top one percent for client satisfaction among 15,700 licensed mortgage loan originators in the Dallas-Fort Worth market. The Five Star Professional award recognizes mortgage professionals based on an independent consumer satisfaction survey. More than 28,500 homebuyers who purchased homes in the Dallas-Fort Worth market between March 2013 and September 2013 were surveyed.
The 2014 award winners were selected based on feedback from buyers of homes worth $150,000 or more. Buyers rated mortgage professionals on key criteria such as integrity, negotiation, and closing preparation, and on whether they would highly recommend the professional to a friend or family member. Award recipients were required to have an active Texas license and no record of disciplinary action.
With more than 20 years experience in the mortgage industry, Whitman has turned Texas Trust into the top credit union residential home lender in north Texas since he joined the credit union in 2006. Whitman and his professional team of mortgage experts understand that a home loan can be the single most important decision a person can make. Whitman has built an array of lending products for Texas Trust, allowing the credit union to offer custom home financing solutions and personalized service at lower rates and fees than other financial institutions.
Whitman's service-minded philosophy and commitment to building brighter financial futures for members is the key to his success.
"Richard's service-minded philosophy and ability to connect with people puts home buyers at ease," said Jim Minge, president of Texas Trust Credit Union. "He and his team go out of their way to ensure members have a positive experience when buying a home."
Minge added, "Richard continues to raise the bar for his team and our lending program. He continuously works to make sure we have the right mortgage products and services and best rates to ensure our members receive the best value and highest level of service for their home lending needs."
