LicenZing LLC Puts Struts on the Road to Fashion Week
Premiere Fashion Accessory Makes its Debut at San Francisco Fashion Week
San Francisco, CA, October 11, 2007 --(PR.com)-- San Francisco Fashion Week proved to be a success for Daryn Pinelli, owner and creator of Out Ease Struts Strips and new PR client to LicenZing LLC. Struts is an environmentally sound, innovative, patent pending product that prevents pant hems from getting caught between an individual’s heel and shoe when wearing backless shoes. The product will be sold 5 pair to a package, and will appear in the shoe and accessory departments of better department stores and boutiques this fall with retail prices of $12-$14.

Established in 2004, San Francisco Fashion Week involves up to twenty established and up- and-coming Bay Area designers. The August 22-26 event reveals the spring 2008 collections by incorporating a boutique, fashion shows and industry workshops. The Struts booth was overwhelmed with interest at Fashion Week. A significant amount of product was sold at the booth itself. Many buyers could not seem to get enough. “I had repeat customers the next night returning to buy for friends,” Pinelli says. Pinelli even picked up her first wholesale account with Napa based Cake Plate, opening in October.
When fashion event coordinator Appel & Frank got a taste of the amazing Struts product, they personally invited Pinelli to their “Stocking’s and Stiletto’s” holiday event on December 6. The quarterly shopping events feature cutting edge designers, and some of the hottest Bay Area boutiques at their renowned shopping showcases.
Jackleyn Ho of Tri City Voice Newspaper interviewed Pinelli on Saturday night. Tri City Voice reaches a wide multicultural audience and has the largest circulation of any other weekly newspaper in the area. Ho is passionate about spreading the word for Struts, stating that “every waterfall starts with one single drop of water.”
Out Ease Struts were created in 2006 by Pinelli, a working mother of 3 children from Jackson CA. Pinelli became increasingly frustrated by constantly pulling her pant hems out from under her heels. Pinelli loved to wear all types of backless shoes - sling backs, mules, wedges, clogs, thongs and slides. However she became fed up with pulling, tugging or even changing shoes just to be comfortable. Pinelli noticed everywhere she went women were struggling with the same problem, and so, an ingenious idea was born. “Every time I show women Struts they get so excited,” Pinelli says, “I have never encountered a woman who doesn’t know exactly what I am talking about when I bring it up.”
The Struts strips are quickly and easily attached to the inside center of the pant hem by removing the adhesive backing from the strip. It is easily creased or curved to form. Unlike the permanent strips, simply peel and discard Strut strips before laundering the garment. Struts uses an environmentally friendly PLA film made from 100% corn by Earthfirst®.
