Reality Television Celebrity to Host Special Tribute to Veterans
Basketball Wives LA Star and Author Jackie Christie to MC Event Supporting Men and Women in the Military.
Glendale, CA, May 04, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Jackie Christie, wife of retired NBA star Doug Christie will serve as MC for the Hyasa Center celebration honoring men and women who served in the military. The event will take place on May 24 in Glendale, California. Jackie, rated as the most popular Wife of Real Basketball Wives: LA is also a recognized author of three books and a savvy businesswoman. Jackie and Doug have been married eighteen years and have three children.
The HYASA Center, a Non-Profit Organization, along with the AA Musical & Theatrical Society, have partnered with HYASA to present a memorable event for Veterans and Military Families. There will be entertainment by a number of local as well as internationally recognized artists. Gracing the stage are the following performers; Miss Golda Berkman, a 15 year old Soprano Operatic Singer who has been training with Vladamir Chernov at UCLA's Division of Voice and Opera; Mr. Mengesha Francis aka "Mystro", is a Piano Virtuoso who has been described as the "Black Liberace", comes equipped with his own Quartet Jazz Band; vocalist Marat Hayrapetyan, vocalist Mister X, Scottish Pipes & Drums, an eclectic group of traditional Scottish Bagpipe musicians; and the awarding winning Pasadena Crown City Chorus, a barbershop harmony chorus who have been performing for over 60 years.
