Santiago Chopper and Mark Lunsford Join Forces in the Fight to Protect Children
The anticipation is building and the paint is barely dry, but Santiago Chopper of Tampa Bay is gearing up for the first donation of their “Choppers for Charity” program.
Tampa, FL, January 17, 2006 --(PR.com)-- The recipient, Mark Lunsford of The Jessica Marie Lunsford Foundation, was granted the motorcycle during Daytona Beach’s Biketoberfest 2005. The custom motorcycle, aptly named “Jessie’s Ride” will officially be presented March 4, 2006 at Destination Daytona.
It is only the beginning of an active schedule during Bike Week 2006 for Santiago Chopper and Mark Lunsford. “Jessie’s Ride” will begin a “Kick Start Tour” at some of Daytona’s hottest spots such as Arlen Ness, The Iron Horse Saloon, The Broken Spoke, Daytona Speedway and The Rat’s Hole Show. The “Kick Start Tour” gets its name from Lunsford’s planned cross-country legislative tour. He intends to use the bike to create greater awareness in his efforts to strengthen sex offender laws in each state. He also plans to hold a year long raffle for a custom bike built by Santiago Chopper. Tickets will be available beginning at the unveiling at a cost of $10. The winner will be announced during Bike Week 2007 in Daytona Beach.
Mark also plans on using the motorcycle in several ways to reach out to politicians and the community. He is organizing rides, special events and will be entering the Bike in all the major bike shows across the US. It is his and Santiago Chopper’s hope that the motorcycle will help Mark continue his fight for better protection for our children.
Tampa Bay will have a chance for a sneak peek preview at the Seminole Hard Rock Casino during the Biker Bash February 26, 2006. Join Santiago Chopper in letting Mark know his work is important and that his community supports him in his endeavors. The sneak peek will be a time for reflection as this marks the year anniversary of Jessica’s death. But it will also be a time of hope for the future as her father, Mark Lunsford, continues his quest and says…”Never Again!”
