The Alice Aycock Poe Center for Health Education Announces 2007 Annual Meeting
Raleigh, NC, October 10, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Kim Raynor, interim chief executive officer for The Alice Aycock Poe Center for Health Education, a statewide nonprofit whose mission is to positively impact the lives of North Carolina youth through health education, has announced that the organization will host its 2007 Annual Meeting on Thursday, Nov. 1 from 7:30-9:30 a.m. at the Poe Center, located at 224 Sunnybrook Road in Raleigh. Dr. Sheila Collins, director of Translational Biology and the Program in Endocrine Biology and senior investigator at The Hamner Institutes for Health Sciences, will be the keynote speaker, and will address obesity and diabetes.
