Solamon Invited to Sit at London Energy Roundtable; Yeo to Meet Officials from Cameroon
Kingston, Jamaica, May 09, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Having launched and augmenting its Electrify Africa campaign, Solamon Energy Corp is pleased to announce the company has been invited to not only meet senior government officials from Cameroon in London but also while there to sit at a roundtable and provide straight-forward input toward implementing renewable solutions in Africa. "Our president Jay Yeo will attend on our behalf," confirms Solamon CEO Graeme Boyce. "The roundtable is being co–chaired by Cameroon's Minister for Energy and Water and all participating will appreciate Jay's experience and expertise."
The Energy Roundtable, hosted by Developing Markets Associates, is being held on May 7, 2014 in Convocation Hall at Church House in Westminster, London, UK. According to organizers this event will provide an opportunity for invited private sector companies to engage with senior representatives and to address key issues for the energy sector in Cameroon. Understanding energy supply, pricing and consumption in Cameroon will be its specific focus, with key Government officials offering to provide a detailed overview of their strategy and discuss policies for developing existing utilities.
"These are exciting times for Africa and we look forward to getting much more involved with like-minded leaders through these new relationships we're steadfastly building," adds Yeo. "From the outset we've consistently offered to inform and help educate people across the Sunbelt, extolling the common sense benefits of solar energy, and to implement varied solutions on many levels to accommodate both the demand of communities and vision of leaders while balancing technical aspects, geographical location and financing options presented for buyers of solar systems today."
Solamon seeks to enter Africa's ramping energy market through numerous points of access across the vast and diverse continent. Responding to requests for quotations and addressing the concerns of administrators seeking more information is time and work that often goes unnoticed, though critically establishes and reinforces our growing partnerships and enables Solamon's executives to not only understand each opportunity in Africa, but to implement effective deals by first setting a solid foundation of trust, whether growing solar power plants upon rooftops, sunny open lands or atop parking lots.
Solamon Energy Corp (GXG:SSL) typically offers a ground-mounted solar array of integrated cells over a package of land called the Apollo Acre™. The company also develops custom solutions with local partners to provide roof-mounted and parking lot systems that are easily augmented by micro wind turbine technology and other innovative features to supply renewable energy locally.
About Solamon: Solamon Energy Corp. sells integrated arrays of ground-mounted and rooftop photovoltaic cells. These solar power plants are connected by cable to varied transmission equipment, including converters, inverters and batteries, utilizing 5 acres of land per unit; each unit is called an Apollo Acre™. Additionally, it is expected the company’s business activities will spin-off many jobs locally, given engineering requirements, construction, unit commissioning and subsequent maintenance.
