Redlands, CA, May 09, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Come out on May 31, 2014 with your dancin’ shoes for the Beloved Foundation’s Just the Swing: Cancer Caregivers Are Our Heroes bash. This fundraising event will be held at the March Air Field Museum, located at 22550 Van Buren Blvd., Riverside, CA 92518. The evening will begin with a cocktail hour at 6:00PM followed by a Swing Dance instruction and dinner with a live band and silent auction. All proceeds from the evening go towards the families that this unique organization provides financial support to, allowing them to stay home with their loved ones battling terminal cancer. Additionally there will be a contest for best ‘40s apparel, so come dressed to the nines in your best Rockabilly or Pin-Up attire. The organization also encourages all Veterans to wear their uniforms to the event so guests can offer a “Thank You” for your service. Truly embodying Caring for the Cancer Caregiver, co-founder Jennifer Talbert started the Beloved Foundation after assisting a friend financially so she could stay home with her mother as she fought her battle with terminal cancer. “The organization became reality through the realization that everyone should have the ability to be with their loved one at the end,” stated Talbert. It is through the generous giving of its donors that allow the Beloved Foundation to provide much needed support for these qualified families. Directly paying the mortgage holders or utility providers of the household the organization supports, Beloved donors are assured their donations are exactly where money is needed.
Founded over five years ago, the Beloved Foundation has helped countless families with the financial burden of staying home and caring for a loved one losing their fight with cancer. Offering families in the San Bernardino and Riverside Counties financial help of up to $2500 per family per month for up to three months, the Beloved Foundation has provided these families with some relief as well as offer them additional services including free grief counseling with one of the foundation’s own board members, a licensed family therapist.
