Senior Poker Tour™ Announces Memorial Weekend Mini Series

Las Vegas, NV, May 08, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Senior Poker Tour continues to expand throughout the country and has announced its newest series, the SPT Central Valley Open, May 22nd – 26th at the Stars Casino in Tracy, CA. The 6 event “Mini Series” series will have moderate buy-ins with multiple flights. Each flight will be limited to 50 players and you may pre-register at the casino cage for any of the events. The Series kicks off with a $175 Green Chip Bounty on May 22nd and will culminate with a $300 Main Event beginning on May 24th. The Series will also feature an exciting Tag Team Event for a team of two to play. Additionally, added to the schedule is the popular Beat the Bosses tournament and a LIPS Ladies event that will be open to all ages over 21. The casino will be hosting mega satellites for seats two weeks prior to the event series.

SPT is fresh off of the recent Las Vegas Classic Series that was held at the Stratosphere Casino. “Tommy Quads” Kougias of Las Vegas, NV was crowned the Main Event Champion after several hours of play. The final 7 players decided on a chop with Tommy being the overwhelming chip leader taking home the trophy and title.
