Los Angeles, CA, May 11, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Emmy award-winning actress Lindsay Wagner invites you to join her for a special week-long advanced acting retreat from July 13-19, 2014 in the welcoming setting of the Hilton Hotel in Palm Springs, CA.
“Acting is actually pretty easy. Stepping out of how you see yourself and how you want other people to see you in order to let an honest character emerge is the greater challenge.”
The uniqueness of this advanced acting retreat is that it's a very small, intimate group of just 14 actors, allowing for more individual guidance from an Emmy Award-winning actress with four decades of experience in the industry, 40 TV movies, 5 mini-series, several television series, and feature films to her name.
This inaugural acting retreat is to benefit the Inland Empire Media Academy, a career academy for students interested in radio, television and film.
Lindsay will help actors to discover and portray greater authenticity and naturalness in their characters and go deeper into accessing emotions. She will share stress reduction and acting techniques that build more confidence when going on auditions, developing roles, and working on the set. Lindsay also offers actors an opportunity to gain a better understanding of working effectively and powerfully with the camera.
You will spend over 40 hours being coached by Lindsay on and off camera, enhancing strengths, identifying weaknesses, and you will have the opportunity to take home the footage of your on camera work to continue your learning at home.
