ARCO/Murray Construction Awarded Contract for Great Bay Distributors Cold Storage Distribution Facility and Corporate Office Building

St Petersburg, FL, May 11, 2014 --(PR.com)-- ARCO / Murray Construction Company and Great Bay Distributors, Inc. held a ground-breaking ceremony on April 7 to announce the construction of a 267,787 square foot cold storage distribution facility and corporate office building in St. Petersburg.

The site was designed with a focus on energy efficiency and will feature insulated tilt panel construction, natural gas water heaters and generators, LED interior and site lighting, and a 1.5 megawatt solar system. The location will include office/hospitality facilities, controlled environmental warehouse, draught cooler, sign shop, truck loading canopy, maintenance building, truck wash and fuel island. The building is scheduled to open in March of 2015.
