Alliance of Cambridge Advisors (ACA) changed their name to the Alliance of Comprehensive Planners (ACP). Alliance of Comprehensive Planners are the resource for fee-only financial planners looking to join a community of advisors. All members are trained in the ACP System, a comprehensive planning methodology for working with clients.
Wilmington, NC, May 13, 2014 --(PR.com)-- The Alliance of Cambridge Advisors (ACA), a network of fee-only financial planners, has changed its name to the Alliance of Comprehensive Planners (ACP). The name change was accompanied with a total rebrand of ACA, now ACP, including the logo, website, and promotional material. ACP will debut its new name at the NAPFA Spring National Conference, May 14-16.
The Alliance of Comprehensive Planners is a non-profit organization of fee-only financial planners trained in the ACP System™. One of the major benefits of becoming a member is the strength of the membership, the community of planners that are ACP members. Realizing the need to reinvigorate their position within the financial planning industry, the membership formed the Renaming Committee and charged them with creating a new name that easily identified the organization within the market of financial planner networks.
Mary Alpers, chair of the ACP Renaming Committee, said the committee used the mission statement to guide their efforts as they researched and refined the name. She said the goal was to best describe ACP’s unique model and support system among members.
“‘Alliance’ describes the heart of our association and the word ‘Comprehensive’ describes the system and services available to our clients,” she said of ACP. “Alliance of Comprehensive Planners best describe who we are and what we do.”
The name change serves multiple purposes. First and foremost the name distinguishes ACP from other networks of financial planners. ACP members are fee-only financial planners that use a comprehensive planning approach. The name change also helps broaden the reach of ACP to other financial professionals looking to add financial planning to their current CPA practice as well as professionals looking to transition into a new career. Lastly the name will help individuals looking for a financial planner identify ACP as an organization of fee-only financial planners that serve the client’s overall life goals, not just their finances.
ACP’s new image reflects its renewed commitment to provide the best services and support to the nation’s fee-only financial planners. This rebrand rest firmly on ACP’s mission statement: Sharing Wisdom. Growing Wealth. Transforming Lives. Building Ideal Practices.
ACP’s new logo also reflects this commitment to comprehensive planning. ACP members address every aspect of a client’s financial picture – not just a snapshot. With the right building blocks provided by an ACP member, clients will reach their financial goals.
