As a member of the WeiserMazars Employee Benefit Plans Group Michael provides audit, accounting, tax and advisory services for employee benefit plans. He specializes in conducting and managing audits of pension plans. Michael has experience in the preparation and review of Form 5500 and applicable schedules, reviewing plan compliance, representations, IRS audits, review of actuarial reports for reasonableness and content, and consulting on plan design.
Additionally, Michael has over 15 years of experience in providing auditing, accounting, and tax services to clients in the manufacturing, retail and distribution sectors. His extensive experience includes internal controls, application of audit procedures relating to contractual arrangements and point of sale systems and the associated risks. He regularly provides support services and consults with clients regarding projections, budgeting and cash flow analysis.
Michael received his BA in Accounting from Bloomsburg University. He is a Certified Public Accountant in New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants. He chairs the Cooperation with Bankers Interest Group and participates on the International Business Council of the Meadowlands Chamber of Commerce. He also serves as a board member of the Meadowlands YMCA.
