"The Room" Star to Sell Issue No. 2 of Autobiographical Comic Book at Phoenix Comicon
Phoenix, AZ, May 16, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Philip Haldiman will be on hand June 5-8 at Phoenix Comicon (booth AA76) selling “The Apartment of Secrets,” the much-anticipated second issue of his comic book series “My Big Break.” Exclusively available at Phoenix Comicon, the series chronicles his life in Hollywood, as well as experiences working on the cult film, “The Room.”
The celebrated and multi-talented Tommy Cannon is the comic book series’ artist. The “Apartment of Secrets” will have its widespread release at a later date this year.
Issue one of “My Big Break” took “roomies” inside Haldiman’s audition. Issue No. 2, “The Apartment of Secrets,” brings fans into the underbelly of Hollywood, peppered with tales of friendly cockroaches, salacious mailings and mysterious visitors.
"Issue 2 is taking My Big Break to the next level. You're still getting the superb art of Tommy Cannon and the story of what it is really like to try and make in in Hollywood. But we have added Kyle Bennett to the creative team who brings more of a decade of publishing experience to the table and a keen eye of what a top-notch comic book should look like," Haldiman said. "The Apartment of Secrets is chock full of fun."
Phoenix-area fans will not want to miss out. Phoenix Comicon is held at the Phoenix Convention Center, 100 N. Third St., Phoenix, AZ 85004. For details, visit www.phoenixcomicon.com.
