Vagabond Inn Gives Back at EIF Revlon Run/Walk for Women in Los Angeles
Employees from Vagabond Inn, a respected west coast hotel chain, volunteered this past weekend at the Annual Entertainment Industry Foundation’s (EIF) Revlon Run/Walk for Women on May 10th, 2014 in Los Angeles.
El Segundo, CA, May 17, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Recently, on Saturday May 10, 2014, members of the Vagabond Inn Corporate Team participated by walking in the Revlon Walk/Run for Women. A generous donation was also made by the Vagabond Inn Corporate Office to sponsor the Vagabond Team for the event.
The Vagabond Inn Corporate Team decided it wanted to get more involved with the local community and found this perfect opportunity to give back. The walk goes directly past the Vagabond Inn Los Angeles – USC and some members of the corporate team had participated in the event previously, it seemed like a great choice of organization and cause to give back to. The Corporate office made a donation in honor of the Vagabond Team walking in the event to give back even more to the cause and honor those whose lives have been affected by cancer.
EIF’s Revlon Run/Walk for Women has become one of the largest single-day fundraisers for women’s cancers in the United States. More than 30,000 participants joined and helped raise critical funds to support women's cancer research, counseling and outreach programs.
Vagabond Inn Corporate Employee Liz Kim commented on her experience at the event saying, “It was an amazing feeling to come together with people from all walks of life, to support a great cause."
This is the first event in a series of volunteer opportunities Vagabond Inn has planned for the rest of 2014 to support their local communities, important organizations and causes.
“It’s a wonderful experience to feel the positive energy coming from all the countless supporters and brave survivors walking for a common cause,” said Cheryl Vargas, Vagabond Inn Corporate Employee. “It was definitely worth the participation.”
