WaterMota Propulsion Package Receives First Showing at Seawork

Southampton, United Kingdom, May 22, 2014 --(PR.com)-- A complete WaterMota powered propulsion package will be displayed on the company’s stand - A95 - for the first time at Seawork.

The package will include a Doosan engine, D-I clutch, PTOs, gearbox and steering system, JMP hydraulic and water pumps, alternators and cooling water pipe mounted by WaterMota on a purpose built frame.

“We are known for supplying a large range of products from some of the world’s top marine manufacturers for a considerable variety of applications including workboats, tugs and fishing vessels. We are able to supply most engine room equipment and installation fittings, however this is the first time we will display a complete propulsion system,” said WaterMota MD Mike Beacham. “We are regularly asked for different components and will use Seawork as a platform to showcase more of our range and capabilities.”

Also on display at Seawork for the first time will be the complete family of Hyundai SeasAll marine diesel engines. The range currently consists of the U125, D170, S250, H380 and the L500, from 125hp to 500hp with the larger two due to receive inland waterways CCNR Stage II certification in July. All the engines meet current emission regulations with the U, H and L series EPA III certified.

This will be the first opportunity to see the L500 in the UK.

WaterMota will also have an extensive range of JMP pumps and strainers on display on its quayside stand, Q4.

“Seawork is always a successful show for WaterMota – we’ve increased the size of our stand this year and are repeating our sponsorship of the new restaurant. We’re very much looking forward to June,” said Mr Beacham.
