New Art Exhibit at Hill & Co.’s 24th Street Office
San Francisco, CA, May 22, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Hill & Co. Real Estate, San Francisco's premier brokerage for residential real estate, today announced that a new art exhibit has been installed at its 24th Street office. The works come from the Octavia Art Gallery of NorCal Vocational – a nonprofit art center designed to assist the developmentally disabled with special needs.
“We rotate in works by various artists throughout the year,” said Kilby Stenkamp, sales manager at the 24th Street office. “These pieces enhance the look of our office interiors, but more importantly, these exhibits give us the chance to showcase the work of artists located in our community.”
The paintings are for sale, with all proceeds going to the artists themselves. Works produced by Octavia artists have proven particularly popular over the years. Prices range from $100 to $300 per piece.
Octavia seeks to enhance participant life skills in part through artistic processes and daily structure. The organization encourages community integration and involvement, and introduces participants to the joys and rewards that art and friendship foster.
