Dr. Dawn Dalili Announces Open Enrollment for the Summer Session of the New Circle for Sustainable Success Program
The newest program offered by Dr. Dawn Dalili, CEO and Founder of DMD Wellness, LLC, announces today that the next Circle for Sustainable Success program will begin on June 12, 2014.
Niceville, FL, May 22, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Dr. Dawn Dalili announces today, enrollment for the third group of the new Circle for Sustainable Success program is now open and begins on June 30th.
The 18-week course is created to help women effectively lose weight through transformative dieting and conscious weight loss. Through a series of weekly meetings hosted virtually, Dr. Dalili works with the group through a variety of lifestyle enhancing modules and conversations covering a range of topics from relationships with food, to mind-body techniques, and self-image identification. Combined with Q&A’s and Member Support sessions, this program truly redefines what mindful weight loss really means.
The Circle for Sustainable Success (CSS) originated as Dr. Dalili noticed her clients go through a period of loneliness or isolation as they began to transform their lifestyles in positive ways. The friendships and relationships that supported the previous, and often times unhealthy lifestyle didn't seem to fit as well as their interests shifted. “Shifts such as, desire for less gossip and more uplifting conversation; less interest in happy hour and more interest in outdoor activity. Clients would express that their progress felt slowed or limited by those around them who would undermine their efforts,” explains Dr. Dalili.
As Dr. Dalili heard these concerns expressed repeatedly over the years, she realized more and more that there was a need to create supportive containers that would fortify the individuals efforts and help each of them to recognize that they weren't alone in wanting a more fulfilling life. The CSS builds that supportive community, which carries the participants through the challenging aspects of personal transformation.
There are many diet programs available and while these programs vary greatly, what they have in common is that they provide a fairly rigid structure - eat these foods and not those, eat this much of them, eat at these times, exercise this amount.
As Dr. Dalili notes “My programs are different in that they teach the participants how to listen to their bodies and respond to the signals from within. There are no rules and restrictions, and we actually work to unlearn what has been learned about diet, calories, and nutrition and rely on direct experience of a food in the body. We take away the words 'good' and 'bad' and practice asking 'does this take me towards the way I want to feel or away from it?' This approach usually neutralizes our inner rebel and circumvents the reactive eater - the one that binges just before or two days into a diet.”
