Future Electronics Promotes the MIC58xx Series of Latched Drivers from Micrel Semiconductor
Future Electronics announces immediate availability of the MIC58xx Series of latched drivers from Micrel Semiconductor.
Pointe Claire, Canada, May 28, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Future Electronics, a global leading distributor of electronic components, promotes the MIC58xx Series of latched drivers from Micrel Semiconductor.
The MIC5891 Series includes the MIC5891YN, an 8-bit serial-input latched driver with a 15 V 5 MHz typical data input rate, available in a DIP-16 package.
The MIC5891 latched driver is a high-voltage, high current integrated circuit comprised of eight CMOS data latches, CMOS control circuitry for the common STROBE and OUTPUT ENABLE, and bipolar Darlington transistor drivers for each latch. Bipolar/MOS construction provides extremely low power latches with maximum interface flexibility.
Applications include alphanumeric and bar graph displays, LED and incandescent displays, and relay and solenoid drivers.
