Visionary Pioneers in the HEMP Industry Are Converging at “The HempZone", Being Held “Inside” The Rockies Venture Club Cannabis Capital Summit in Denver on May 29, 2014
The HempZone is being held in Colorado, the Cannabis Capital of the World: Since March 1st, more than several dozen farmers have registered and begun planting Hemp as part of the Colorado Department of Agriculture federally approved program. With the industrial HEMP market taking off, the HempZone, (a unique venue being held "inside" the Rockies Venture Club Cannabis Capital Summit) will showcase the experts, educators, entrepreneurs, and companies leading the commercial charge in Colorado!
Denver, CO, May 29, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Today, Sean Murphy (of Miracle Ventures, LLC., located in Denver, CO), and Mike Schmidt (of Ensemble Ventures, LLC of Colorado Springs, CO) are announcing their latest venture development production, “The HempZone”, an innovative, educational and business opportunity venue centered around the market potential of Industrial HEMP, Medicinal HEMP, and the myriad of products/services in this new, emerging multi-billion dollar industry.
HEMP is an Industrial Strength Fiber, so is the HempZone Sponsor: HEMP, Inc. (OTC: HEMP)
The HempZone is being sponsored by Hemp, Inc. (OTC: HEMP), and its pioneering leader and CEO, Bruce Perlowin, who will bring his HEMP vision and industry leadership to the HempZone. Specifically, Mr. Perlowin will be sharing with HempZone attendees details on how Hemp, Inc.’s recent purchase of a large decortication machine will open huge opportunities for Americans to transition from non-sustainable synthetic solutions to more hemp-based green solutions. The purchase, which was announced last week, now enables Hemp, Inc. to position itself as the buyer and processor of US farmers' harvests. As American farmers begin to grow and cultivate hemp, Hemp, Inc.'s facility will also serve as a place to buy the harvest. With the only decorticating machinery of this magnitude in the United States, Hemp, Inc. can process raw hemp which can be used to make paper, fabric, cellulose plastics, materials used extensively in well drilling to prevent lost circulation, material for toxic spill cleanup; and, highly insulating building products such Hempcrete, to name a few.
About Hemp, Inc.
Hemp, Inc. (OTC: HEMP) focuses on the vast market created by the quickly emerging, and growing, multibillion dollar industrial hemp industry. Hemp, Inc. (OTC: HEMP) is not currently involved in the cultivation or marketing of medical cannabis. (www.hempinc.com) Watch Bruce Perlowin on Bloomberg TV.
Veteran-Owned Hemp Businesses Exhibiting at the HempZone:
The HempZone will also feature several Veteran-owned businesses that are emerging in the industrial hemp and CBD industry. Specifically we will have Dewmar International, Inc. and its CEO, Dr. Marco Moran, presenting on Cannabidiol (CBD) applications and other hemp-based edibles. Dr. Moran is a pharmacist and former Marine medic, and joins a video panel presentation of veterans who are creating jobs and opportunities with industrial hemp.
Celebrating “Hemp History Week” (June 2-8) with screening of Bringing It Home
The recent Farm Bill provision for hemp research and pilot programs has sparked national media awareness and conversation about industrial Hemp. But what’s preventing the U.S. from fully joining 31 other industrialized nations that allow its farmers to grow this beneficial crop? Bringing It Home explores the question of why a crop with so many widespread benefits cannot be farmed in the United States by exploring its history, industries and current farming legalization efforts.
HempZone at Cannabis Capital Summit:
The HempZone will feature four areas of education and information for Cannabis Capital Summit Attendees:
1. To introduce the Denver and the greater Colorado business community to the economic viability, power and potential of Hemp in both industrial and healthcare sectors of the marketplace.
2. To feature 5 hemp-based companies with various Hemp production or product supply enterprises.
3. To provide a variety of Hemp educational opportunities to enable Summit attendees to get a well rounded and professional introduction to industrial Hemp and its potential.
4. To introduce Ensemble Ventures and Miracle Ventures and its business development initiatives for driving alternative healthcare companies and solutions
Announcement of the Miracle Fund:
At the HempZone, Sean Murphy and Mike Schmidt will be announcing their plans to create an Alternative and Complementary Healthcare Fund called “The Miracle Fund" to develop innovative entrepreneurs and their companies in a wide variety of healthcare treatments and therapies for treating stress, chronic diseases, debilitating cancers, and palliative end-of-life-care needs for an aging and healthcare challenged population.
Currently, Ensemble Ventures and Miracle Ventures are in the initial stages of forming and launching the Miracle Fund, and plan to have it up and operational by the third quarter of 2014. They are exploring the industrial hemp market and performing due diligence. They have a number of targeted Colorado-based seed and development stage companies in their initial portfolio that they are exploring funding and developing. Some of these companies will be exhibiting in the HempZone.
