Tyler Whims Joins Greenville SC Builder Addison Homes
Addison Homes, a Greenville SC custom builder, has hired a new project manager to oversee the company's Energy Star, EarthCraft House and DOE Challenge Home projects.

Tyler Whims recently joined the company as Project Manager. Duties include overseeing construction of Addison Homes’ EarthCraft House™, ENERGY STAR® and Challenge Home certified properties; he focuses on schedule, budget, contractors, materials and site management to ensure best-practice procedures are implemented from start to finish.
Whims graduated from Clemson University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Science & Management and a minor in Business Administration. He also holds OSHA certification. He previously worked as an operations and maintenance specialist at Fluor.
Whims volunteers with Habitat for Humanity and participates in motorcycle-related events to benefit Toys for Tots.
“Tyler brings both youthful enthusiasm and entrepreneurial experience to our team,” said Addison Homes President Todd Usher. “At age 13 he founded his own lawn service company and grew it into a thriving business that he managed throughout his high school and college years.
