Bright Community Trust Convenes a Community Land Trust Forum

Clearwater, FL, May 30, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Press Invite: As a media leader in the Tampa/Clearwater area, please accept this invitation to attend and possibly cover a very informative program on maximizing public investment to create housing for working families that is affordable for generations to come. With decreasing subsidies for affordable housing, local governments are looking for new ways to support housing development for working families that provides for long term affordability. This session will be of interest to local and state elected officials as well as business leaders, community leaders and the development and real estate communities.

There will be interview opportunities on site with Michael Brown, Partner, Burlington Associates, Marcia Barry-Smith, MBS Consulting Services, Jaimie Ross, Florida Community Land Trust Institute & 1000 Friends of Florida, Anthony Jones, CEO and President of Bright Community Trust, as well as Bright Community Trust Board Members: Barbara Inman, Habitat for Humanity of Florida, Debra Johnson CME, PHM, CMPO, Pinellas County Housing Authority, and Board President, Jeff Rogo, Bay Area Apartment Association.

a. Community Leaders and Stakeholders Roundtable: a discussion with Bright Community Trust CEO, COO and board members about how we can work together to meet our community's housing goals.

b. Lender's Roundtable: Receive specific instruction on structuring your loan programs for CLTs, meet your CRA requirements and mitigate risk. Get answers to your questions.
