Vertical Capital Markets Group Names Hart Executive Vice President, Director of Business Development

Irvine, CA, May 31, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Vertical Capital Markets Group LLC announced today that Joseph M. Hart of Cornelius, N.C., a senior-level manager with more than 25 years of sales and distribution experience in financial services, has joined the firm as Executive Vice President and Director of Business Development.

Most recently, Hart served as Executive Vice President of Institutional Sales for Realty Capital Securities, LLC in Boston, a leading distributor of non-traded real estate investment trusts (REITs) and business development corporations (BDCs). Before that, he held the position of Senior Vice President and Head of Retail Sales for ING Investment Management.

He has also held senior-level positions with Prudential Investments, Banc of America, Wachovia (formerly First Union) and Fidelity Investments.

He earned his bachelor’s degree in business from Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo. He earned series 7, 63, 65 and 24 licenses and holds his Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA) designation.
