Boomer Adventures Launches Web-Based Baby Boomer Adventure Travel Television Program at www.boomeradventurestv.com

Webcast, created by baby boomer adventure travel writer and producer Sam Dalton, is the first internet-based, broadband "television" program to focus on entertaining, educational, and cultural adventure travel for baby boomers.

Los Angeles, CA, October 15, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Boomer Adventures, a travel program targeted toward baby boomers has launched as a broadband webcast at www.boomeradventurestv.com. Created and hosted by long-time baby boomer adventure travel writer and TV producer, Sam Dalton, Boomer Adventures follows Sam as he goes off-the-beaten-path in search of destinations and activities where baby boomers can share camaraderie, fun, and adventure with family and friends.

“I developed Boomer Adventures as a result of my own search for information about travel adventures that appeal to me,” said Dalton. “I’m a baby boomer. And I am always looking for places to go and things to do that take me beyond what’s readily available to the average tourist crowd. Whether it's exploring a museum, riding white water, zip lining a cloud forest canopy, clambering about archaeological ruins, interviewing a local artisan or crafts person, or discovering a luxurious eco-resort & spa, I want to be educated as well as entertained. I want to participate. I want to experience being part of where I am. And that’s what Boomer Adventures is all about.”

Webisodes of Boomer Adventures that are currently posted at www.boomeradventurestv.com feature visits to St. John USVI (Maho Bay Camps), Allensworth and Ft. Tejon State Historic Parks, and Paramount Ranch (part of the Santa Monica Mountains National Park). Production is currently underway on upcoming webisodes that will feature visits to Costa Rica, Crow Canyon Archaeological Center, beaches along the Santa Barbara, CA coast, and “Winter Wonderlands” (Cape Cod, MA, Dillsboro, NC, West Yellowstone, MT, and Midway, UT).

“The term “senior travel” does not appeal to many baby boomers,” adds Dalton. “That seems to connote travel that incorporates tours and busses. Baby boomers tend to march off-the beaten-path in search of the next great adventure around every bend of a trail.”
