Iverson’s Furniture Unveils Newly Refurbished Stores
High-End Used Furniture Store, a Sarasota, Florida Landmark, Undergoes Transformation
Sarasota, FL, June 01, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Iverson’s Furniture on Bee Ridge Road, a long-standing Sarasota landmark, has changed its look. Long recognized for its terracotta-colored building, the store now sports a clean, modern silver color.
In addition to the exterior of the Bee Ridge Road store, both the Bee Ridge Road and Clark Road stores, with 7,500-square-feet of showroom floor, now have a colorful new interior, as well as new signs at each location.
It was time for a change, explains owner Mari Morton. "When a store has been around 57 years, you've got to mix it up now and then, and different colors go a long way."
The 2223 Bee Ridge Road location is just two blocks east of Tamiami Trail, and has occupied the same location since it first opened in 1957. The second store at 3224 Clark Road, just east of Lockwood Ridge Road, opened in 1981.
Iverson’s Furniture buys, sells and consigns furniture and estates, with a new inventory of quality pre-owned furniture arriving almost daily, and offers appraisals and staging services. The company also assists Realtors whose seller clients need to sell their furniture quickly after their home sale closes. Iverson’s Furniture will buy the entire contents of the home. “We’ll clean it out, move it out and hand you a check,” Morton said. “We’ll make it easy for you.”
A family business, Iverson’s Furniture's management includes Mari's son, Barry Wigglesworth, and most of the staff members have been there 20 years or more. Mari’s two pugs, Mia and Suki, are also regulars at the stores.
