Multi-Talented Filmmaker Chandra Gerson is "Eye on Entertainment" Guest
Show Host, Dawna Lee Heising, Queries Gerson on Writing, Producing and Directing her Feature Film "Book of Choices."
Hollywood, CA, June 03, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Dawna Heising, Host of “Eye on Entertainment” video series, interviews multi-talented Chandra Gerson, writer, producer, and director.
Gerson’s film, "Book of Choices" is a psychological drama about the choices one makes and the results of those decisions. The main character, Carl Johnson, escapes reality by reading a book of short stories. The stories come to life in this film and in each one, the main character has made a choice and must live with the outcome of that choice. Little does Carl know the importance of the choice he will have to make as the film progresses. Filled with twists and turns, the film bays the idea of what you are seeing may not be what is real.
The talented cast includes Trevor Scott (Criminal Minds, Enlisted, General Hospital), Enrique Almeida (CSI, Boston Legal, Bruce Almighty), Dan Spector (Happy Days, Facts of Life, Different Strokes), and award winning actress Dawna Lee Heising (Teachers' Day, Slink).
Chandra tells Heising that she started writing scenes for an acting class she was taking with Gene and Toni Bua at "Acting For Life" and that led to her first short film centering on domestic violence entitled, "Impaired Innocence." In 2009, she started her own production company, KitnKat Productions and more short films followed. She began entering them into festivals. In 2012, her film "Burning Distortion" was accepted into the New York International Independent Film & Video Festival and won "Best Drama." Shortly after that her film, "Detach” was accepted into the VegasCineFest International Film Festival. "Book of Choices"is her first feature film.
