Kamuela, HI, June 04, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Residents of the Big Island in Hawaii experienced the magic of international award winning magicians Bruce and Jennifer Meyers, performed in Hilo last May 16, 2014.
The couple held three magic shows at 5pm, 6:30pm, and 8pm at the East Hawaii Cultural Center. Even better, portion of proceeds were set aside for the benefit of the keiki of Halau Hula Napunaheleonapua, who are performing this year at the 39th Annual Queen Lili`uokalani Keiki Hula Competition on Oahu.
Attendees had a fun and magical night, with the Meyers’ mark of creativity and originality, including twists on magic classics. Among their unforgettable magic tricks were: making two children from the audience levitate simultaneously, producing several dozens of eggs, and even cutting US officials in half.
Aside from drawing crowds to their performances, the Meyer couple are also known for their contribution to philanthropy. Over the years, the two have been helping non-profit organizations raise millions of dollars through their magic show benefit. The Meyers also have great reason to perform and bring their brand of magic to Hawaii: with their three beautiful children, the two have called the Aloha State their second home, especially after building a house in Puna, Hawaii.
“The Magic Show Benefit in Hilo headlined by the Meyers was a perfect way for to be entertained and enthralled by magic and mystique. It is just one of the many events in the Big Island that is all about family, fun, and giving back, with Hawaii’s breathtaking sceneries as the backdrop,” explained Harold Clarke, a long-time resident of the Big Island, and the founder and owner of LuxuryBigIsland.com.
Aside from being a host to many community events, Hilo is also home to fine neighborhoods that are just a few minutes away from beautiful beaches, lava fields, scenic trails, and marine sanctuaries.
