Toll Brothers Purchases Property in Fort Collins for New Home Community
Fort Collins, CO, June 05, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Toll Brothers, Inc. (NYSE: TOL), the nation’s leading builder of luxury homes, recently closed on the purchase of more than 166 acres from the Kechter family in Fort Collins. The home builder (www.tollbrothers.com) plans to offer more than 400 homesites for single family homes on the property located south of Harmony Road and west of I-25.
The new community, Kechter Farm, represents the first Toll Brothers community in Northern Colorado. The company was named 2014 Builder of the Year by BUILDER magazine and has been in Colorado since 2000. Toll Brothers currently has communities that range from Parker to Broomfield.
“We have been watching the growth in Northern Colorado and were pleased to have the opportunity to purchase this property for our expansion,” explains Mark Bailey, Colorado Division Senior Vice President. “The community’s ideal location near open space that’s connected to walking trails and Fossil Lake Reservoir, plenty of retail options, and easy access to I-25 should be very attractive to families.”
The Kechter Farm community will include a 6,000-sq. ft. clubhouse with a fitness center, great room, outdoor recreation space, outdoor pool and hot tub, play area, and grills and tables for outdoor dining.
Toll Brothers will have three collections of home designs within the new community—The Enclave at Kechter Farm, The Preserve at Kechter Farm and The Estates at Kechter Farm. The home builder plans to open the community for sales with three model homes (one from each collection) in spring 2015. Home designs and base prices have not yet been finalized.
