ADI Announces Retirement of Longest-Running Employee

Automation Devices, Inc. a vibratory feeder manufacturer in Fairview, Pa. announces the retirement of Bob Hoover after 56 years with the company.

Erie, PA, June 06, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Automation Devices, Inc. (ADI), a vibratory feeder and part system components manufacturer announces that long-time employee Bob Hoover is retiring after 56 dedicated years with the company. Hoover, a feeder bowl technician and “master troubleshooter” started at ADI at the age of 19, his first, and last, job after returning home from the service.

“Bob has been an invaluable employee,” says ADI President Kevin Smith. “Not one feeder bowl leaves our building without Bob’s seal of approval.” “He is always helping customers resolve their feeding issues and has found countless ways to improve products and processes throughout the years,” says Smith.

“It’s a thing of the past for employees to stick with one employer for an extended period of time, let alone over 50 years,” says Smith. “Even though Bob has passed along his tricks of the trade, Bob’s vibratory feeding knowledge and skills will be greatly missed. Of course we are happy for him as he moves on to this next chapter and is able to spend more time with his wife and family,” adds Smith.

ADI will be hosting a company luncheon in honor of Bob on his last day.
