Join the Burlington Beer Festival Kick-Off at Village Square on June 21
Burlington, Canada, June 07, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Join a selection of Ontario craft brewers as they celebrate the countdown to Burlington’s inaugural Burlington Beer Festival with an exclusive outdoor tasting event held at Village Square in downtown Burlington on Saturday, June 21.
The event marks the start of the official countdown to the 2014 Burlington Beer Festival, to be held from July 18 to 20 at Spencer Smith Park on the Burlington waterfront. Guests will enjoy an exciting opportunity to sample delicious beers from a wide range of Ontario craft breweries, including limited edition beers not sold at the LCBO or The Beer Store. Apart from complimentary beer tastings, the event will feature live entertainment, a vintage car display, buskers and tasty samples from participating restaurants including:
Rayhoon Persian Eatery will be sampling their delicious signature stew.
• Partnered with Cool Beer Brewing who will be on their patio all afternoon.
Son of a Peach Pizzeria
• Partnered with Oast House Brewers and will be providing pizza samples paired with delicious beer.
The Stinson
• Partnered with Highlander Brewery, and will be providing BBQ delights on their patio.
Village Cigar Company & Barbershop
• Partnered with Nickel Brook Brewing for an in house craft beer sampling all afternoon.
“Village Square is the ideal venue for our official kick-off,” says Burlington Beer Festival Chief Operating Officer, Scott Robinson. “With so many outstanding restaurants, great Ontario craft beer and live entertainment, it will provide a taste of what’s to come when the inaugural Burlington Beer Festival gets underway at Spencer Smith Park from July 18 to 20.”
The action kicks off Saturday, June 21 from 1:00 pm till 5:00 pm at Village Square, east of Pearl Street between James and Pine, in downtown Burlington.
