Dr. Jorge Ribas to be Honored with Vale la Pena! Service Award

Service Award at the 2014 Champions of Character Dinner on June 18, 2014. This award is to recognize Dr. Ribas’ outstanding service in supporting Scouting opportunities for Hispanic/Latino youth. Dr. Jorge Ribas is a co-founder and first President and CEO of the Mid-Atlantic Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, a multi-state business organization based in Washington, DC. He has been recognized as an effective and visionary team leader who enjoys fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments. Proceeds from the dinner will benefit Scouting and Learning for Life programs for youth in the District of Columbia, including the campership program that helps Scouts attend summer camp.
