ASISA Assembly 2014 set to discuss and debate deliverables of the 2030 NDP for South Africa.

The theme of the event is “Today is Tomorrow’s Yesterday” – South Africa 2030 starts right now. The purpose of the assembly is to discuss and debate the implementation of the deliverables of the National Development Plan (NDP) 2030. The NDP offers a long-term perspective for South Africa to eliminate poverty and reduce inequality by 2030.
To meet the goals outlined in the NDP, South Africans are encouraged to draw on the energies of its people, grow an inclusive economy, build capabilities, enhance the capabilities of the state, and promote leadership and partnerships through society. To facilitate the fulfillment of the NDP, ASISA and its members need to align their strategic plans to meet the deliverables of the NDP.
There are a number of key issues to be discussed revolving around the infrastructure of the NDP, such as changes in the financial services industry in Africa and South Africa, drivers of these changes and changing consumer behavior.
