New PCB Coating Pen from Intertronics
The new PCB overcoat pen from Intertronics is a handy, quick way to apply an acrylic conformal coating to circuit board tracks, as protection against shorts, moisture, abrasion, fungus and other environmental hazards.
Kidlington, United Kingdom, June 11, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Intertronics’ recent launch of the CircuitWorks Overcoat Pen is expected to make coating of PCB’s especially convenient during manufacture, rework and prototyping, where it enables replacement of permanent solder resist or mask over repaired areas, or where it is damaged or missing.
The Overcoat Pen is a handy, quick way to apply an acrylic conformal coating to circuit board tracks, as protection against shorts, moisture, abrasion, fungus and other environmental hazards. It enables quick easy repairs while meeting the requirements of MIL-I-46058C and IPC-A-610D. The acrylic coating contains a fluorescent indicator for visual confirmation of coverage.
Peter Swanson, M.D. of Intertronics, enthused “These new pens perform excellently on the workbench or in the tool kits of electronics engineers. They are very convenient for spot coating application on PCB’s, whether in production or in ‘the field’ and are available with our offering of circuit repair products.”
