Concepts for Charity Presents Hot Fest for Hospice 2014

Rockford, IL, June 11, 2014 --(PR.com)-- On August 31st, Concepts for Charity will present Hot Fest for Hospice 2014 on the shores of the Rock River at the Verdi Club, 782 N Madison Street, in Rockford. The event will take place from 12:00 PM to 11:00 PM. Concepts for Charity is a local, all volunteer, non-profit organization that raises funds for local causes through the production of events in the northern Illinois stateline region.

Since 2003, Hot Fest for Hospice has been a festival that raises awareness and funds for not-for-profit hospice organizations near Rockford, Illinois. Each year, hundreds of families are touched by the support and care of these providers.

At the heart of Hot Fest for Hospice is the area’s only Iron Chef style Salsa Competition. The competition features two-person teams who are challenged to make two gallons of salsa from scratch while the clock ticks and people cheer. The best part is that festival goers help by judging the teams in several categories.
