Kickstarter Campaign Seeks to Save Little Girls' Hairstyles
A new Kickstarter Campaign hopes to produce Little Beauty Bonnets, which are stylish hair bonnets designed to maintain hairstyles and stay on a little girl's head throughout the night.
Chantilly, VA, June 11, 2014 --(PR.com)-- On a weekly basis, Jocelyn Fennell the creator of the Little Beauty Bonnet Kickstarter Project would do her daughter's hair. She would put scarfs and other bonnets on her daughter's head to try and protect the hairstyle but they never seemed to stay. After being frustrated numerous times, she said to herself, there needs to be a stylish way to protect little girl hairstyles throughout the night. That is when the idea for Little Beauty Bonnets came to be.
For the last 2 years, Jocelyn and her husband have been trying out different designs to find the one that will stay put on their daughter's head throughout the night. Based on the results of testing, Jocelyn believes they have finally found the best design that will work for any little girl's head. The Little Beauty Bonnet Kickstarter Project will fund the first production run in order to start marketing the product.
Many creative minds such as Jocelyn get their start on Kickstarter. On average there are usually about 20-50 childrenswear projects like Jocelyn's being promoted on the popular site. Many project creators are seeking funding for their first manufacturing production run. But, it does not stop there. Most project creators, such as Jocelyn, have high hopes that span beyond the initial production run. Jocelyn believes that the bonnets bundled with matching pajamas could be sold in reputable children's clothing stores worldwide one day.
