July 3rd Celebration is on the Move

Duluth, GA, June 12, 2014 --(PR.com)-- The City of Duluth is proud to announce the July 3rd celebration will be held on Duluth Town Green this year. Previously, the celebration was held at Scott Hudgens Park, but due to some pending construction the decision was made to move the event this year.

“This move will continue to make Duluth Town Green the center hub of many events. We want residents to think of Duluth Town Green as the place to be for events,” said Event Coordinator Maggie Waddell.

America's 116th Army Rock Band and Funk/R&B Group will rock the house as residents dance the night away. Food vendors will also be available along with children’s activities.

A fabulous firework display with City Hall as the back drop will wrap up of the event. The Duluth Celebrates America event will take place on Thursday, July 3, 2014 from 6-9PM. This is a licensed merchant zone event, so grab a drink, your friends and family and experience downtown Duluth in a new way.
