Lucideon to Hold Free Breakfast Forum – "Improving the Efficiency of Your Manufacturing Processes" – 27 June 2014
Lucideon, the international provider of materials development, testing and assurance, and formerly known as Ceram, will be holding a free breakfast forum, "Improving the Efficiency of Your Manufacturing Processes" on Friday 27 June at its headquarters in Stoke-on-Trent.
Stoke-on-Trent, United Kingdom, June 12, 2014 --(PR.com)-- The forum will explore the benefits of examining production processes to improve their efficiency and how subsequent changes could affect a company’s bottom line. Dr David Pearmain, Materials Engineering Manager will also provide an update on Lucideon’s low energy firing project, the commercialisation of field enhanced sintering technology - the sintering of ceramics to dramatically reduce temperatures and firing times, and hence energy costs.
Bhupa Prajapati, Technical Manager at Ross Ceramics Ltd will be joining to provide an independent view on the benefits of making process improvements.
The efficiency of production methods has a direct impact upon profitability, scrap and re-work rates, throughput and yields. Improving process efficiencies or switching to a new process can help companies to save costs, improve product consistency, improve performance and realise new product properties.
The forum will run from 8:00 - 11:00am and include a buffet breakfast, presentations, breakout session with discussion, and networking opportunities.
