Pacific Lifestyle Homes Donates $10,000 to Transitional Youth
Continuing its tradition of supporting community organizations, Local Home Builder, Pacific Lifestyle Homes, donated a $10,000 matching fund to Transitional Youth at a fundraiser held on June 9th.
Vancouver, WA, June 13, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Continuing its tradition of supporting community organizations, Local Home Builder, Pacific Lifestyle Homes, donated a $10,000 matching fund to Transitional Youth at a fundraiser held on June 9th.
Traditional Youth is an organization that helps homeless kids through offering after school programs, obtaining food and shelter as well as counseling for drug addictions. This fundraiser is an important one for the organization and garners a lot of support from the local community.
The event, held at the Red Lion Hotel in Portland Oregon, featured speakers who spoke about their experiences being homeless as youth. Life coach and trainer Eldridge Broussard III, the feature speaker talked about his early days in foster care and the criminal-justice system and how Transitional Youth led him on a path to redemption.
Transition Youth is supported by individuals and business throughout the community whose lives were changed by attending the center as youth.
