Skillern Publishing Opens Skillern Family Club

Chattanooga, TN, June 13, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Skillern Publishing in Chattanooga, Tennessee is pleased to announce the upcoming launch of the Skillern Family Club, created for all descendants of the Skillern family and related families. The website opened in beta June 1st and can be found at SkillernFamily.com.

July 1st heralds the official club opening with an exciting newsletter available via mail for a small fee or via email at no charge. The Skillern Family Club has a dual focus, on honoring Skillern ancestors and sharing current family events with far-flung kin.

The ambitious co-publishers, Sammy & Lucy Boyd, plan to bring drama to the club in the form of exclusive contests, Skillern trivia challenges, and a mystery of the month. Members can expect to learn about both commonly-known and little-known Skillern and Anderson history in the U.S. and across the pond and learn of many reasons to be proud to say, “Yes, I am a Skillern!”

All Skillern and Anderson descendants and those interested in these families are invited to join. While most American Skillerns today are in pockets of Texas and Tennessee, Skillern Publishing is especially seeking out those lost from the rest of the family.
