The Search is on for "Queen Bee" of the City - Applications Now Being Accepted for Miss Charlotte USA and Miss Charlotte Teen USA

Charlotte, NC, June 13, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Young women who are seriously interested in competing for the title of Miss Charlotte USA or Miss Charlotte Teen USA are urged to submit their applications now. Because these contests are the official preliminary competitions for the prestigious Miss North Carolina USA and Miss North Carolina Teen USA pageants, organizers seek the state’s most qualified girls to represent its largest city. Miss Charlotte USA queens must be able to exhibit sophistication, poise, and confidence as they make statewide appearances, participate in celebrity events, perform charity work, cover magazines and model during Charlotte Fashion Week. Since the pageant’s inception, two Miss Charlotte USA winners have been awarded the title of Miss Teen USA.

Stressing the qualities expected in their contestants, Director Stephens says, “We’re not looking for physical attributes such as a specific height, weight, or body type. We want girls who are outgoing, intelligent, healthy and excited to represent the city of Charlotte. This event will be a rewarding experience that can impact the rest of these girls’ lives.” To find that special girl, a distinguished panel of judges rates contestants in three areas: evening gown to express beauty and elegance, swimsuit to showcase physical fitness, and a personal interview to show intelligence and personality. No talent performance or previous experience is required. Twenty contestants will compete for prize packages totaling $5,000 or more along with the coveted Miss Charlotte title, banner and crown that will make one of them “Queen Bee” of the beautiful Queen City, Charlotte. The new Miss Charlotte USA and Miss Charlotte Teen USA 2015 will be crowned at an elegant Paris-themed event on June 14th.
