Golfers Making an Impact
It was with a philanthropic spirit that on Monday May 5th 2014, 132 golfers came to play at the Argyle Country Club for the 22nd Annual Golf for Charity event hosted by our firm. Through their participation and donations, this year's event raised over ten thousand dollars for local charities
Gaithersburg, MD, June 15, 2014 --(PR.com)-- It was with a philanthropic spirit that on Monday May 5th 2014,132 golfers came to play at Argyle Country Club for the 22nd Annual Golf for Charity event hosted by Lanigan Ryan, Malcolm & Doyle, P.C. Through their participation and donations, the event raised over ten thousand dollars for N Street Village and Hearts & Homes for Youth.
After lunch, the event began under sunny skies with a shotgun start. Once the golfers cleared the course, they headed to an awards dinner where representatives from both charities shared their missions.
Rex Smith, founder of Hearts & Homes for Youth stated that the most important thing we can do in our life is to make a positive impact in our community and improve the lives of others. It is with this spirit that the Lanigan Ryan Golf for Charity Tournament was born in 1992.
Past recipients of the charity event include Community Lodgings, Boys & Girls Club, The MS Society, The Carol Jean Cancer Foundation and A Wider Circle.
This year's event was a success and Lanigan Ryan, Malcolm & Doyle, P.C. extends it sincere gratitude to all clients and friends of the firm for their continued support. The firm is already looking forward to the 23rd Annual Golf for Charity event that it will host on May 4th, 2015 at Argyle Country Club.
