New York, NY, June 18, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Wheel Fun Rentals is excited to announce that they will be hosting an exhibit booth at 2014’s Adventures NYC 10th anniversary weekend, presented by NYC Parks and Backpacker Magazine. Adventures NYC is a free, two-day event that takes place on Saturday, June 21st in Manhattan and Sunday, June 22nd in Brooklyn that includes free adventure activities for people of all ages. On Saturday, Adventures NYC will take place at Central Park, in Manhattan. Saturday’s Wheel Fun Rentals exhibit will include free kayak instruction and use, a product display, and a fun photo booth where visitors can take photographs on a pedal boat in front of an action-packed backdrop. A social media photo contest will take place on Instagram and Facebook, using photos taken at Wheel Fun Rentals’ photo booth. The winners will each be rewarded with free rental passes.
In addition to Wheel Fun Rentals' free kayak rides, Adventures NYC exhibitors will be hosting a variety of free outdoor activities on Saturday, including stand-up paddle boarding, wheelchair basketball, rock climbing, fitness classes, and more from some of New York’s most popular “adventure professionals.” If you ride your bike to Adventures NYC at Central Park on Saturday, free valet parking will be provided. Come hang out with New York City’s WNBA team, the New York Liberty, and participate in their Downtown Dribble Kickoff event.

For the first time in Adventures NYC’s 10-year history, there will be an additional day of activities on Sunday. Sunday’s event will take place at Marine Park, in Brooklyn. To celebrate Marine Park’s inaugural Adventures NYC event, Wheel Fun Rentals will be providing free kayak rides, as well as free rides on some of their unique cycles, including six-passenger four-wheel Surreys, Deuce Coupes, Choppers, and much more. The event will be held at Avenue U and East 33rd in Brooklyn from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Hikes through the Salt Marsh Nature Trail will also be taking place on Sunday, among other awesome outdoor adventure activities.
Certain activities will require a waiver, which will be provided at the event for participants to sign, ensuring it’s a safe and fun experience for everyone. Participants under the age of 18 must have a legal guardian present to sign any waivers. Additionally, children must be at least five years of age to participate in kayaking.
