The Ballor Family Welcomes Helene from Germany
The Ballor family in Alpena, MI will be welcoming a high school exchange student into their home for the 2014-15 school year!
Alpena, MI, June 19, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Helene will join the Ballor family in August, as school starts at Alpena High School.
About Helene
Helene is16 years old. She loves the nature spends a lot of time outside. She is an open minded girl and would like o see a lot of places in the world. Her friends appreciate her friendly, tolerant and helpful character. At the moment school is an important part of her life. After coming home from school, she goes for a walk with her dog everyday. Her favorite hobby is riding a horse. A year in the USA is a dream of hers because America landscapes and nature are so beautiful and spectacular- although people with different background and roots live together as one nation.
Every ASSE exchange student comes with an enthusiasm to practice their English and experience American culture. They will also share their own culture with their host family and community. Host families welcome these students into their family, not as a guest, but as a family member, giving both the students and families a rich cultural experience.
