Fairfield Harbor’s Harbour Pointe Golf Club Hosts Junior Camp to Teach Basics of the Game
Local Boating and Golf Community Invites Young Golf Enthusiasts to Participate in Summer Camp
New Bern, NC, June 19, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Fairfield Harbour, a residential boating and golf community located 15 minutes from historic New Bern, announced that it is hosting a summer junior golf camp at the Harbour Pointe Golf Club, located at 1105 Barkentine Drive. Opened on June 16, the club will hold four camp sessions, hosting children ages 7 to 15 and runs weekdays from 9 a.m. to noon.
Camp attendees will learn the basics of golf, from putting and chipping to making a full swing. The cost of the camp is $125 per child and includes 15 hours of instruction, one snack a day and a Harbour Pointe junior camp T-shirt.
The sessions are as follows:
- Session 1: Monday, June 16 through Friday, June 20
- Session 2: Monday, July 7 through Friday, July 11
- Session 3: Monday, July 21 through Friday, July 25
- Session 4: Monday, Aug. 18 through Friday, Aug. 22
