New President at Families of Slain Children Inc. (FOSCI) in Jacksonville, Florida

Families of Slain Children (a 501(c)(3)) has recently appointed Fidel Michael Owens as the Board President in Jacksonville, Florida. Mr. Owens brings over 20 years of leadership experience in the finance and banking industries. Mr. Owens successfully operated as the President of Lexxis Financial Group, Inc. (A Correspondent Lender) in South Florida employing over 25 brokers generating over $15M in annual revenues from 1999 through 2007. Prior experience includes V.P. of Strategic relations for Definity Partners (A process improvement firm). Mr. Owens also brings extensive experience in Risk Management working for major fortune 500 companies as a Credit Risk Manager and Forensic Analyst for claims defense and loss mitigation departments. This includes contract work with R.R. Donnely, PHH, J.P. Morgan Chase and Bank of America. Mr. Owens has been tasked with elevating FOSCI to the next level by the Founder (Beverly McClain) to secure funding for the various projects the surrounding communities so desparately needed, in addition to bring organizational management tactics for process improvement initiatives. FOSCI will be partnering with various agencies to increase volunteerism and increased donations through community participation.
