Texas Trust Credit Union Receives Top Honors in Its Class at Industry Marketing Competition
The Marketing Association of Credit Unions industry marketing competition bestowed top honors to Texas Trust for outstanding marketing in radio and outdoor advertising.
Mansfield, TX, June 21, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Texas Trust Credit Union took home two gold awards for outstanding marketing at the annual Marketing Association of Credit Unions (MAC) annual conference in San Diego.
Within the asset category of $501 to $999 million, Texas Trust received top honors in the Broadcast and Video category for its Robin Hood Mobile Deposit radio spot. This quirky and fun ad showed how Robin Hood could have used mobile deposit to quickly deposit the riches he stole. The goal of the campaign was to generate 500 mobile deposit transactions with at least $100,000 in deposits in the first month. The campaign was so successful, it generated more than 4,160 mobile deposit transactions and $1.1 million in deposits within the first month.
Texas Trust also received a gold award in the Outdoor category for its strategic usage of ATMs and wrapped vehicles to increase brand awareness and acquire new members by offering a special checking account promotion. Within the first three months of launching its outdoor advertising campaign using strategically located ATMs, 88 new checking accounts were opened, which was far more than the credit union's marketing goals for the entire first year of the campaign.
"The MAC award competition highlights the best in credit union advertising and marketing," said Amber Danford, Senior Vice President of Marketing, Texas Trust Credit Union. "The results of these campaigns clearly indicate our advertising strategy is working. The MAC awards recognize the best of the best in the credit union industry and these campaigns are proven winners by their results and the gold awards."
“The credit unions who won a MAC Award this year should be incredibly proud. There were hundreds of entries—all voted on by a group of credit union marketers. Impressing a group of your peers is an absolute badge of honor,” said Emily Friesen, MAC Board Chair.
