With mumms® Software, hospices can effortlessly submit their HIS Data to comply with the new Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) regulation. mumms® Software will allow hospices to pull an HIS report from the software and upload it directly to CMS. It's that easy.
New Orleans, LA, June 24, 2014 --(PR.com)-- The deadline for sending Hospice Item Set (HIS) information is just around the corner. Effective July 1st, 2014, Medicare-certified hospices must submit a Hospice Item Set (HIS) Admission record and an HIS Discharge record for each patient admission. These HIS records will be submitted to the Quality Improvement and Evaluation System (QIES) Assessment Submission and Processing (ASAP) system. With mumms® Software, every customer can submit the required HIS data. mumms® Software will be updated to pull a report that contains the required HIS information. Following CMS instructions, each hospice will be able to upload the HIS report directly into the CMS Web App. It's that easy.
