Calif. Vapor Assoc. Wins a Sub-Category on Yelp
Yelp allows Vape Shops to Classify themselves Separate from Smoke Shops.
San Francisco, CA, June 24, 2014 --(PR.com)-- California Vapor Association proudly announces that the international Yelp community has advanced awareness of the differentiation between smoke shops and vape shops by establishing a unique sub-category for vape shops. This will support retailers’ desire to promote their stores in an accurate way.
“Although the FDA and government organizations classify our members’ businesses under the ‘tobacco umbrella,’ these products are completely different than cigarettes and the confusion for potential customers is frustrating for us,” Jim Root, founder, California Vapor Association. “This is just one of many initiatives we have put into action towards legitimizing and maturing this industry.”
Many industry groups recognize the need to establish independent validation for the differentiation of e-cigarettes from tobacco products. California Vapor Association has been successfully leading this initiative by partnering with the community.
