Owner Jill Pearson has been doing photo retouching, tinting, and poster collages for professional photographers for six years. “A lot of Sophie and Spice customers kept asking why I didn’t offer announcements, “ says Pearson. “I realized it should have been the first product I offered.”
Jill Pearson has a BFA from the University of the Arts (Philadelphia, PA) and spent many years working as a freelance illustrator and designer. Her illustration work has been printed in publications around the country and she has received recognition from numerous illustration institutions. Jill opened Sophie and Spice after the birth of her daughter and works from her home office in suburban Philadelphia.
